I have the honour in accordance with your

instructions to forward particulars as to the assistance that will be required fran the Hong Kong Government, to enable a commercial aerial transport Company to start operations as suggested in my papers I to X; which were handed to His

Excellency Sir Cecil Clamenti, K.C.M.G., on the 25th of April,

1928.

(1).

SUBSIDY.

(a) A Subsidy of $300,000.00 (Three hundred thousand

dollars Hong Kong) payable over a period of five years. (b) It was agreed by the conference held on the 22nd and 23rd of May that it would be best to pay this Subsidy in the following proportions;

$ 70,000.00

3rd year.

$ 50,000.00

4th year.

$ 40,000.00

5th year.

$ 40,000.00

TOTAL $300,000.00 Hong Kong.

I understand that Macao, and perhaps Canton, will

be willing to pay part of the above suggested Subsidy.
